Former Missouri guard Jordan Clarkson has been one of the lone bright spots for the Los Angeles Lakers these past couple of years.
And now he’s being rewarded handsomely for it.
According to Shams Charania of the Vertical, Clarkson has agreed to a 4-year deal with the Lakers. The deal is reportedly worth $50 million.
Clarkson averaged 15.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in his second season with the Lakers. Clarkson was drafted with the No. 46 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Lakers. Clarkson played two years at Tulsa before transferring to Missouri for the 2013-14 season.
Clarkson averaged 19.9 points per game in his one season at Missouri. Clarkson was making less than $900,000 a year for his first two seasons.
