Missouri is reaching back into its former conference to fill a coaching vacancy.
The Tigers will reportedly hire Baylor offensive quality control coach Joe Jon Finley to join Missouri’s staff as a tight ends coach, according to FootballScoop.com.

Finley was a two-time all-Big 12 tight end at Oklahoma from 2003-2007. He spent parts of four seasons in the NFL before beginning his coaching career in 2011. Finley was a four-year letterman at Oklahoma and helped the Sooners to three Big 12 championships. He was a team captain in 2007.
Finley began coaching at Los Fresnos High School in Texas in 2011. He spent the next two seasons as as quality control coach at Oklahoma before returning to Los Fresnos for the 2014 season.
At Baylor, Finley helped with film breakdown and game-planning for opponents with statistics and tendencies, according to the school’s website.
