Coming out of a tough 2016 season in the trenches, Missouri has reportedly lost an offensive lineman. Tigers redshirt freshman Tanner Owen is leaving Mizzou, according to a report from PowerMizzou.com’s Gabe DeArmond.
The next destination for the Kearney, Mo. native is not yet known. Per DeArmond, Owens say out the 2016 season due to a “health issue.” He redshirted during the 2015 football season.

Owen was a first-team All-State selection in Class 5A at left tackle at Kearney High, and according to his official Tigers bio, was the No. 17 rated player in the state of Missouri in the 2015 recruiting class. He enrolled early at Missouri and had been with the team since spring workouts in 2015.
