Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk will remain suspended for a second week and miss the Tigers’ game Saturday against No. 11 Florida, Pete Scantlebury of PowerMizzou.com reported Monday.
True freshman Drew Lock started in place of Mauk in Missouri’s 24-10 win over South Carolina this past weekend. Lock completed 21-of-28 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start.
Missouri coach Gary Pinkel declined to discuss the quarterback situation for the upcoming week immediately following the game.
Multiple sources confirmed that #Mizzou QB Maty Mauk's suspension will continue through the Florida game on Saturday.
