Missouri ranked 120th of 127 FBS teams in rushing offense in 2015, and one of its top running backs from a year ago in Russell Hansbrough has exhausted his eligibility. That could give a player like the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Ross a chance to earn some meaningful playing time alongside Ish Witter, who led the team in rushing with 518 yards in 2015.
Ross had two 100-yard rushing performances as a Sooner, including one in 2015, when he rushed 14 times for 103 yards in a blowout win over Kanas. Ross’ other 100-yard outing came in 2014 against Iowa State.
