Missouri received a late commitment from junior college prospect Malik Young on college football’s National Signing Day.
Young is a defensive tackle from Eastern Arizona. He announced his decision for the Tigers via Twitter on Wednesday night.
A 6-foot-2, 280-pound athlete from Marietta, Ga., Young is a 3-star prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is the nation’s No. 6 junior college defensive tackle prospect. He also received offers from Florida, Arizona State and Arizona.
Earlier this week, Young’s teammate, Walter Palmore, committed to the Tigers.

Young visited Missouri on Jan. 28, 3 days after he took an official visit to Florida.
The Tigers were 4-8 in 2016 and 2-6 in the SEC.
