Wild animals are unpredictable by nature.
They can have the best training in the world, they can execute a command thousands of times, yet if they don’t feel like doing it they’re not going to do it.
That’s exactly what happened with the bald eagle that was a part of the Missouri halftime show during their showdown with Vanderbilt.
Halftime bald eagle goes off script. Flies into crowd, perches on rail. Looks over field, decides he's seen enough.

Nobody is going to tell this bald eagle what to do. Maybe it just likes college football and wants to watch some on a Saturday afternoon like the rest of us. He (She?) saw an opportunity for a free seat and took it, no judgement at all.

The beautiful bird is one of the best symbols our country has to offer, so we’re going to give it a break. The only thing more American than a bald eagle watching college football might be if it was eating some of its mom’s apple pie while driving a Chevy truck.

It has been a tough year for the Tigers, so perhaps a good bald eagle laugh is just what the fans needed.
