Who doesn’t love a creative dunk?
Missouri’s mascot, Truman, probably doesn’t anymore.
During Missouri basketball’s slam dunk contest at its Halloween & Hoops/Black & Gold scrimmage, Missouri forward Jordan Barnett wanted to make a good first impression with Tiger fans. Barnett had Truman stand underneath the basket so he could jump over the Tiger.
But as The Kansas City Star’s Tod Palmer shows, it didn’t go so well.

Barnett — a St. Louis native — is entering his first season with the Tigers after spending two seasons with the Texas Longhorns, but won’t be eligible to play until the second half of the season to fulfill the NCAA’s transfer eligibility rule.
The Tigers begin the regular season on Nov. 13 when they host Alabama A&M.
