In a year that saw the SEC reign supreme on the field, the conference accomplished the same at the box office, too.
According to the NCAA, the SEC led the nation in average attendance in 2015 and set a conference record with 78,630 fans per home game. This marks the 18th consecutive season in which the SEC finished first in average attendance.
With a renovated and expanded Kyle Field, Texas A&M (103,622) came in third overall and had the highest total in the SEC. The Aggies were followed closely by LSU (102,004), Alabama (101,112) and Tennessee (100,584). Michigan (110,168) earned the top spot.
