Through five weeks of college football, just 16 unbeaten FBS teams remain.
The SEC is home to three of them, thanks to a Hail Mary completion from Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs to WR Jauan Jennings that propelled the Vols to a 34-31 win at Georgia. The victory moved the Vols to 5-0 on the season.
Alabama and Texas A&M join Tennessee among the SEC unbeatens at 5-0 after taking care of business in conference games against Kentucky and South Carolina, respectively.
While three unbeaten SEC teams through five weeks of play is impressive, it’s not the most among Power 5 conferences. The Big Ten holds that honor, with four teams still undefeated.
Here’s a look at all of the remaining undefeated FBS programs:
Big 12 (2)
West Virginia (4-0)
Big Ten (4)
Ohio State (4-0)
Conference USA (0)
Western Michigan (5-0)
Mountain West (2)
Air Force (4-0)
Boise State (4-0)
Texas A&M (5-0)
