Coming from Louisiana, Glenn Beal may be staying in-state to play for LSU when the time comes to continue his football career. But the 3-star tight end is currently still considering other schools, including several others from the SEC.
Beal released a list of his top six schools late Sunday night. Along with the Tigers, he included Alabama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas as teams from the SEC. UCLA and Oregon rounded out the list.
According to SEC Country’s Sam Spiegelman, Beal’s commitment decision is shaping up to come down to LSU and Alabama. Beal nearly committed to the Tigers on National Signing Day back in February, but he now plans on announcing his decision on National Signing Day in 2018.

Beal is the No. 16 tight end recruit and the No. 13 Louisiana recruit in the Class of 2018, according to the 247sports composite rankings. He is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end from New Orleans.
According to 247sports’ “Crystal Ball,” Beal has a 100-percent chance of committing to LSU.
