Tre Swilling is one of the nation’s premier cornerbacks, but apparently, he’s quite the recruiter, too.
Less than 24 hours removed from announcing that a list of top-five schools is coming soon, the four-star New Orleans cornerback tweeted Wednesday night a cast of fellow prospects he’d like play alongside when he arrives in college.
“Link up? Package?” Swilling tweeted, including his brother, four-star running back Bruce Jordan-Swilling, five-star linebacker Dylan Moses, four-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, four-star safety Todd Harris, four-star wide receiver Devonta Smith, four-star linebacker Anthony Hines and three-star wide receiver Jeremy Singleton in the tweet.
Moments later, Swilling also made a plea to five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson.
Swilling holds offers from a host of SEC powers, including LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
Earlier this month, the 6-foot, 180-pound prospect told SEC Country that LSU would be included in a list of his top schools.
In addition to Swilling, the rest of the prospects mentioned in the star-studded are all major LSU targets.
Jordan-Swilling, Smith, Moses, Leatherwood and Harris are among the top players on the Tigers’ big board and will be highly sought-after over the next couple of months.
Should LSU benefit from Swilling’s creative idea, Les Miles would be a happy man.
