One of Georgia’s top recruits in the class of 2017 announced his top 10 on Sunday.
Robert Beal, a 4-star defensive end from Norcross, Ga., released his list through Twitter. Among the schools he is considering are LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss and UGA, in no particular order. The ACC, Big 12 and Big Ten are also represented, as Clemson, FSU, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Texas and Ohio State round out the list.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound product from Norcross High School has already reported 23 offers and has drawn comparisons to UGA standout Lorenzo Carter. At is stands, Beal is considered a strong lean to Notre Dame, per 247Sports.com’s Crystal Ball predictions. In an interview with the AJC’s DawgNation.com, the 4-star said he received 129 letters from the Irish in one day.
Beal is rated as the No. 9 player in Georgia and No. 73 overall in the country in next year’s class.
