Stephon Taylor has remained quiet throughout his recruitment, but with only a month until National Signing Day (Feb. 3), the highly coveted defensive tackle released his top five.
The four-star prospect included LSU, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Florida State in his five finalists late Thursday afternoon.
The schools are not listed in any particular order.
“Throughout this recruiting process, I (want to) thank all the great coaches who came along and recruited me,” Taylor said. “I have narrowed my decision down to five!”
Taylor previously told SEC Country he was down to LSU and Auburn, but had interest in Ole Miss.
Taylor has unofficially visited LSU (May 30), Texas (July 28), TCU (July 28) and Oklahoma (Oct. 2).
Taylor is rated as the No. 29 defensive tackle in the nation and Louisiana’s No. 18 prospect, per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
