One of the top quarterbacks in the country, Chase Brice, claims 18 offers, but he is looking to add three more to the collection.
Brice, a 2017 4-star quarterback from Grayson High School, told SEC Country that he would like to receive an offer from Florida, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
On Florida: “I heard they might be taking two quarterbacks in 2017. My buddy, Jake Allen, is actually committed there right now. We talk a lot. Florida is a great school and Coach (Jim) McElwain has done a great job.”
On Ole Miss: “Well (former Grayson stars Denzel and Robert Nkemdiche) played here. I got to know them when I was in the eighth grade. They’re obviously very good players. They have told me how great of a place Ole Miss is, and it’s a school that I definitely want to visit soon and hopefully get an offer from.”
On South Carolina: “(Former Grayson linebacker) Daniel Fennell played here last year. He’s there right now. We talk frequently and he said it’s such a great place. I know Coach (Steve) Spurrier just stepped down, but the players are still fighting hard for Coach (Shawn) Elliott.”
The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder visited South Carolina this past weekend for its game against Florida. In addition to that visit, Brice has made trips to Clemson and Michigan State this season, two schools that are considered by most recruiting analysts to be the favorites to land him.
Despite that, he doesn’t have any leaders and isn’t sure when he’ll make a final decision.
Brice is rated as the nation’s No. 11 pro-style quarterback and is the state of Georgia’s No. 27 overall prospect in the class of 2017.
