Landon Dickerson has taken two official visits. He has two more planned. That means only one remains for the 4-star prospect.
Dickerson said the battle for that final visit is between Georgia and Tennessee, according to a video interview with Rivals.com’s Mike Farrell.
“Right now I’m leaning towards Tennessee,” the 6-foot-5, 293-pound offensive tackle prospect from South Caldwell High School (Hudson, N.C.) said. “Georgia, new staff and everything. Tennessee, they’ve been in there for a long time. I really do like them. They’ve been doing great things these past few years just growing as a team overall. Anybody can see that just by looking at their record.
“Tennessee is definitely a frontrunner for getting that last official visit. Georgia has been coming in strong. They’ve been making up some ground here, so we’ll see that happens with them.”
Dickerson has already taken official visits to Auburn and Florida State. He is scheduled to take official visits to Florida on Jan. 15, which was the weekend previously slated for Georgia, and Alabama on Jan. 22. His lone remaining official visit would likely come on Jan. 29, the last weekend before National Signing Day (Feb. 3).
Dickerson said he wouldn’t name Florida State his frontrunner, despite persistent Internet chatter that the Seminoles are in the lead.
