Drake Davis is coming home.
The four-star wide receiver from IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) committed to LSU over Ole Miss on Saturday.
Davis, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect and Baton Rouge, La. native, made only one official visit — to the Tigers on Dec. 11. He also made unofficial visits to LSU in November and October.
He also unofficially visited Ole Miss in September.
Ole Miss was long thought to be the front-runner to land Davis.
Instead, Davis became the fourth wide receiver in LSU’s 2016 recruiting class, joining Louisiana’s Da’Montie Coxie and Stephen Sullivan, and Texas’ Dee Anderson.
Davis is the nation’s No. 13 wide receiver and is rated as the No. 17 player in Florida.
