One T-shirt is way, way wrong when it comes to the Alabama-Auburn rivalry.
On Thursday, Reddit passed along an image of an Alabama, er, Auburn — er, both? — T-shirt that’s apparently for sale in southern Alabama. It appears to be crimson. However, the T-shirt includes a large “AUBURN” printed near the bottom of the item. There are two smaller “Auburn” mentions near the top as well.
Talk about confusing.
We’re guessing this is a massive mistake. However, it’s possible that the T-shirt maker wanted to produce an item that could appeal to both sides of the Iron Bowl rivalry.
But why would an Auburn fan be interested in wearing crimson? And why would an Alabama fan want to slide on anything that read “Auburn” in multiple spots?
Is your brain scrambled enough by now? Need some Excedrin? Good luck figuring out this mystery.
