One of Alabama’s football players apparently got so sick and tired of hearing about how Ole Miss had defeated the Crimson Tide for the second year in a row that he tweeted out a history lesson shortly after the final buzzer of Saturday’s SEC West showdown:
That’s right, after Alabama lost to Ole Miss last year, the Crimson Tide rebounded to make it to the College Football Playoff. Meanwhile, Ole Miss went in the opposite direction after the signature win over Alabama, dropping three out of six games to earn a spot in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
The confident Alabama player, wide Parker Barrineau, was obviously emotional after Saturday’s stunning loss at home. He later deleted the tweet and apologized.
