When a tweet was sent from the Twitter account of Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey at halftime of the Saturday’s game against Arkansas, it naturally caught a lot of attention.
While it’s not technically against NCAA rules for a player to tweet during a game, you can bet coach Nick Saban would not approve:
However, Humphrey apparently did not post the tweet. Alabama track-and-field star Dash Pinder tweeted from the same account soon afterwards with the following message:
Humphrey is one of five freshmen starting for ‘Bama against Arkansas. The Tide are currently on upset alert against the Razorbacks.
That was not Marlon, his Twitter is stuck on my phone and they got mixed up with bad signal. -@DashPinder
