Antwuan Jackson is set to graduate early, which leaves him with less than two months to decide where he’ll take his remaining allotted official visits.
Over the weekend, the 4-star defensive tackle from Ellenwood, Ga., (Cedar Grove) told SEC Country he’s considering taking official visits to Alabama and UGA.
“I love those schools,” said Jackson, the No. 7 player in Georgia. “Georgia is my home-state school. And I’ve visited Alabama a couple of times. I’m thinking about taking an official visit to those two.”
Jackson is scheduled to visit Ohio State (Nov. 21) and USC (Nov. 27) in consecutive weeks later this month, and he’ll likely take another to Auburn at a future date. His final two visits, he said, will come before the end of December.
How much interest he has in either school, though, remains to be seen. Jackson maintained that Ohio State and Auburn are his co-leaders, but he suggested the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs are trailing right behind.
“Auburn and Ohio State are my top schools,” Jackson said. “Georgia, Alabama and all those other schools are right behind, but they aren’t too far behind them.”
Jackson took an unofficial visit to Auburn over the weekend with his father, Antwuan Jackson Sr. It was his third trip to Auburn this fall.
He is rated as the No. 55 player in the country and the No. 7 player in Georgia.
