The newest edition of the Associated Press Poll was released Sunday and four SEC teams were ranked in the Top 25.
Alabama (No. 2) continued as the conference’s top-ranked team following an SEC Championship win on Saturday. The Crimson Tide rolled past Florida en route to a 29-15 victory in the Georgia Dome. The Gators dropped one spot to No. 19 in this week’s rankings following the defeat.
Ole Miss (No. 16) finished up as the conference’s second-ranked team. The Rebels played to a 9-3 record in 2015, with their only losses coming to Florida, Memphis and Arkansas. They were also the only team to beat Alabama this season.
