Missouri’s Gary Pinkel is set to coach his last regular-season game Saturday, and he will do so as an underdog.
Pinkel announced two weeks ago that he will resign at the end of the season because of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The Tigers (5-6, 1-6 SEC) will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., to take on Arkansas (6-5, 4-3).
Both squads will enter the game coming off a loss, but Arkansas opened as a 14-point favorite, according to VegasInsider.com. The Razorbacks lost to Mississippi State in a 51-50 thriller Saturday, while Missouri couldn’t hold on against Tennessee.
The Tigers topped the Razorbacks 21-14 when the teams faced off last season. Missouri is 4-2 in the all-time series.
