Kiel Pollard wrestled to come up with an answer to the question for more than five seconds.
Pollard, a 3-star wide receiver from Colquitt County High School (Moultrie, Ga.), was asked if his commitment to Arkansas was firm.
“I’m not 100 percent,” Pollard told SEC Country. “I’m going to take a couple of weeks and make sure I’m at the right place for my next four years.”
One of the teams that has changed things for Pollard is South Carolina. The Gamecocks offered Pollard last Wednesday. He will take an official visit to the school in January.
New Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp had a chance to speak with Pollard and told him that he is a priority.
“They just told me that I had an offer from them,” Pollard said. “Will Muschamp told me he was liking me ever since he was at Florida. It’s a great feeling to get an offer from them.”
The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder said he isn’t sure when he’ll make a final decision on where he’ll attend college.
Pollard helped lead his high school to a AAAAAA Georgia state championship. He finished his high school career with the team riding a 30-game winning streak.
