The pregame hype for Saturday’s Arkansas-Tennessee matchup has made its way to Twitter. Each team’s official account celebrated #ThrowbackThursday with two of the biggest moments in the history of the rivalry.
First, Tennessee shared the video below featuring former Arkansas quarterback Clint Stoerner, whose “stumble fumble” set up a game-winning drive for the Vols. Tennessee would march down field before tailback Travis Henry dove across the goal line for six.
Tennessee went on to win the inaugural BCS Championship while Arkansas captured a share of the SEC West division title.

An hour after Tennessee’s tweet, Arkansas shared its own video showing Stoerner’s redemption drive the following season. Stoerner hit wide receiver Anthony Lucas on a touchdown pass that spoiled Tennessee’s chances of repeating as BCS Champions.

Coincidence? Doubtful. But the back-and-forth does provide even more incentive for both teams on Saturday.
