Alabama started the day by hanging half-a-hundred points on Mississippi State.
Then, things really got strange.
Kansas pulled out all of the stops, including having return man LaQuvionte Gonzalez hide in the end zone on a kick return. It made for a nice return, but it didn’t help the Jayhawks avoid a 31-24 loss to Iowa State.

Clemson had trouble hanging on to the ball in a 43-42 loss at home to Pittsburgh (the Tigers had 3 turnovers), and even this fan had trouble with his grip.

Of course, the Panthers were pumped.

Speaking of locker rooms, Iowa has its visitor facilities painted pink. The Michigan equipment staff took it upon themselves to do some redecorating.

Of course, there was on-field action, too. Ohio State’s Marcus Baugh pulled off an Olympic-worthy hurdle of Maryland’s JC Jackson.

Iowa punter Ron Coluzzi was slightly less graceful. He did, however, draw three different penalties on Michigan in the first quarter of their Big Ten game.

It wasn’t a great day for Big Ten punters, as Nebraska’s Caleb Lightbourn would attest. He had a punt of minus-2 yards against Minnesota.
We just had a minus-2-yard punt on BTN. https://t.co/OyvjGlv1Yy

We’re not sure what this Wake Forest player is doing behind Louisville’s Lamar Jackson’s back, but it sure is funny.

None of Hawaii’s players were having anywhere near that much fun in a lopsided 52-16 loss to Boise State. Rainbow Warriors coach Nick Rolovich took the bench away.

Elsewhere in the Mountain West, Wyoming and UNLV had a good, old-fashioned shootout. UNLV won it 69-66 in three overtimes, but Wyoming needed a great play just to reach the extra session.
Josh Allen hit Tanner Gentry with no time left to extend the game.

Arkansas didn’t make it to overtime in a 38-10 loss to LSU, and some of its fans had a tough time coping.
