The SEC has plenty of stars, whether it be Leonard Fournette, Myles Garrett and Jalen Tabor. But a lot of times, an unknown player becomes a game-changer over the course of the season.
With that in mind, Athlon Sports has pegged two players from each team who could play huge roles in shaping each team’s season. Some of the names are familiar, such as Carl Lawson of Auburn and Sony Michel of Georgia. But others like Mississippi State’s Nick Fitzgerald will be looking to prove it for the first time.
