On Friday, recently hired Georgia assistant Glenn Schumann visited with Auburn commit David Marshall.
The meeting ended with the three-star defensive end deciding on taking an official visit to UGA sometime in the near future, he confirmed to SEC Country.
Marshall spurned Ole Miss and Alabama, among others, back in October when he announced his decision to re-commit to Auburn. Coincidentally, Kirby Smart was his lead recruiter for the Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-2, 256-pound senior from Thomaston, Ga., has not yet reported an offer from the Bulldogs. He told SEC Country that UGA was recruiting him as an outside linebacker.
Marshall is rated as the No. 39 player in Georgia.
