Auburn’s coach takes Jeremy Johnson’s glove off in frustration, throws it
After throwing another interception in the second quarter of the game, Jeremy Johnson turned to wearing a glove on his throwing hand to help.
After one drive wearing the glove (it resulted in a punt), Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee went up to Johnson and threw the glove behind the bench.
“You don’t need the glove. It’s mental.” Lashlee said, according to the CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce.
Glove or no glove Johnson has had an awful first half.
Auburn trails 24-0 going into the second half.
