Are you fired up on this fine Sunday, SEC fans?
Week 7 treated viewers to a compelling slate of games, and the conference-wide reactions from players and coaches proved to be just as animated. Perhaps no single quote exemplified this more than the one Alabama coach Nick Saban says he shot at players during halftime of the Texas A&M game:
“Get some fire in your ass.”
The line seems to have worked, as the Crimson Tide held on in the second half to secure a huge 41-23 victory in Aggieland.
Saban was not alone in quotability on Saturday. Check out SEC Country’s compilation of the league’s best sound bites below, beginning with an emotional postgame speech given by South Carolina interim coach Shawn Elliott. Elliott’s enthusiasm is gold and well worth your time.
