Breaking down ticket prices for every Week 4 SEC game

Find your lucky T-shirt, load up the grill and buy some beverages, SEC Saturday is almost here.

And for those of you looking to get into the stadium and watch some top-level college football, here’s what it’ll cost you across the conference (ticket prices courtesy of Vivid Seats).

Most expensive

No. 19 Florida at No. 14 Tennessee

Florida has won 11 consecutive against the Volunteers. The Gators are traveling to Neyland Stadium, with backup quarterback Austin Appleby set to run the offense in front of 102,000 screaming fans covered in UT orange. If you want to be a part of that crowd, I hope you’re ready to empty your savings. The median ticket price is $312, with the current minimum at $166. The next most expensive SEC game is in Arlington, Texas, with No. 10 Texas A&M playing No. 17 Arkansas ($102 minimum, $209 median).

Least expensive

Mississippi State at UMass

If you’re on a tight budget and don’t have to travel too far, this is the game to catch. The median price for this game at Gillette Stadium is $26. All it takes is $18 to get in the door at this NFL venue. If it doesn’t feel right to watch SEC football in New England, consider Missouri’s home game against FCS school Delaware State. That has a median price of $45 and a minimum of $16.

Best value

No. 18 LSU at Auburn

This one isn’t close. For a median ticket price of $69 ($25 minimum), fans can tailgate all day outside of Jordan-Hare Stadium for a 6 p.m. ET kickoff. The contest features a ranked LSU team with Leonard Fournette taking on a desperate Auburn team. Gus Malzahn and Les Miles are feeling the heat at their respective programs, which should provide great tension during the SEC matchup. This game is guaranteed entertainment under the lights. And for just $25? Steal.
