Brent Musburger is a college football treasure, but he has a penchant for saying things that he maybe should not say on television. On Saturday night, the man who brought us the controversial Katherine Webb comment during the national championship game several years ago delivered another head-scratcher for viewers of the Auburn-Clemson game.
This time, his target was former Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino, whose tenure with the Razorbacks famously came to an end due to an inappropriate relationship with an athletic department employee which was revealed by a motorcycle accident.
And while Petrino has long since left the day-to-day conversation of SEC football, the Louisville head coach (and former Auburn assistant) may never be able to completely get away from the motorcycle comments.
Musburger dropped this line about Petrino during the game:
