The final week of the regular season is upon us, and as always, it goes out with a bang.
The Iron Bowl is the main attraction, of course, and Alabama is a 4-point favorite on the road against Auburn. The Crimson Tide have won three in a row in this series since the “Kick Six” in 2013.
There are other rivalry games on tap as well, starting with the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving night. The Bulldogs are 16-point favorites but have split the last four meetings with the Rebels.
Missouri looks to complete a remarkable turnaround to its season when it travels to Arkansas. The Razorbacks are 12.5-point underdogs, and they’ve lost two of the three meetings between the schools since Missouri joined the SEC.
Georgia makes the short trip to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech on Saturday, and the Bulldogs are 12-point favorites. The Yellow Jackets have won two of the last three meetings, including a 28-27 win in Athens last fall.
Florida State’s quest for bowl eligibility leads it to Gainesville for a game against Florida. The Gators are 4.5-point underdogs, but have dropped four in a row in the series.
The Governor’s Cup will be up for grabs when Louisville visits Lexington to face Kentucky. The Wildcats are 9.5-point underdogs and have dropped five of the last six meetings. Kentucky did earn a 41-38 victory last season.
Vanderbilt will head over to Knoxville to take on Tennessee, and the Volunteers are 1.5-point favorites. The Commodores have won three out of five in the series, but the Volunteers won six in a row before the current stretch.
Clemson will travel down to Columbia to face South Carolina, and the Gamecocks are 13.5-point underdogs. South Carolina won five straight games from 2009 to 2013, but the Tigers have taken three straight meetings.
Texas A&M will try to earn its first win against LSU since it joined the SEC when it visits Tiger Stadium Saturday night. LSU is a 12-point favorite, however, and hasn’t lost a game to the Aggies since the 1995 season.
