It’s May, but it’s never too soon to look ahead to 2018 bowl projections.
Recently, Sporting News’ Bill Bender published bowl predictions for the coming season. The projections also include a stab at how the College Football Playoff will shake out. Bender predicted Alabama will be among the country’s best four teams and will face Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl before moving on to play Clemson in the National Championship Game.
By looking at the picks, it easy to assume Sporting News predicts an Alabama-Georgia showdown in the SEC Championship Game, with the Crimson Tide earning another victory against the Bulldogs. Likely, many pundits will pick the Crimson Tide to win the SEC West and the Bulldogs to claim the SEC East crown as we move closer to the 2018 season.
