Florida and Tennessee are both in the running to land the nation’s No. 15 offensive guard, and will find out their fate in early July.
Jordan Reid, 3-star offensive lineman from Cass Technical High School (Detroit), tweeted out on Thursday that he will announce his college decision at Nike’s “The Opening” finals (July 7-10) in Beaverton Ore.

Reid reports 16 offers, but will choose between Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Pittsburgh and Tennessee. It’s likely that he stays in state with 50 percent of recruiting analysts predicting him to choose Michigan State, according to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions. Florida and Michigan were each given a 25 percent chance at landing his services.
The 6-foot-4, 286-pound prospect is ranked as the state of Michigan’s No. 11 overall player.
