While appearing on The Paul Finebaum Show Tuesday afternoon, Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott shared one of the main reasons he decided to return to school for his senior season.
The Bulldogs ended last season with a loss to Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl, but the defeat to Ole Miss in the 2014 Egg Bowl is what remains on Prescott’s mind.
“That was one of the main reasons I was coming back,” Prescott said. “(I) didn’t want to leave that egg up there. I definitely want to get the Egg Bowl back to where it belongs in Mississippi State. I’ll be ready for that last game of the season.”
Ole Miss and Mississippi State took the SEC by storm last season when the two schools defeated Alabama and Texas A&M, respectively, in the same weekend. The anniversary of that day is this Sunday.
Prescott also had some words for Heisman hopeful Leonard Fournette.
