The “SEC is all propaganda” has become a tired argument for Danny Kanell, but it’s one he insists on making at every opportunity. Even when it’s not accurate.
On Sunday afternoon, the former ESPN radio host took a predictable and selective shot at SEC teams for not being among the leaders in championship Sunday participants.
Schools with most players on conference champ weekend
FSU – 9
Michigan – 8
UCLA – 8
Funny with all the propaganda sent out by the SEC you'd think they would at least be in top 3….but pesky #facts get in the way

Yawn. This is a lazy take from Kanell, and it’s not even completely accurate — Florida has eight players on the four rosters partaking in championship Sunday.
But even if it was accurate, it’s another cherry-picked stat to make the SEC look worse than it is. In reality, the SEC is sending a NCAA-high 19 players to the Super Bowl. Two of them — South Carolina’s Alshon Jeffery and Stephon Gilmore — made arguably the biggest plays of the game for their respective winning teams.
This is not Kanell’s best effort and, don’t be mistaken, it won’t be his last either.
