It’s already been a month since National Signing Day has passed.
And it’ll be three more days until Sci Martin announces his decision.
Due to storms heading through Louisiana toward the New Orleans area, Martin has postponed his college announcement until Monday.
The three-star pass-rusher was set to announce between LSU, Alabama and TCU on Friday at McDonogh 35 High School, but will wait an extra 72 hours after the school was cancelled due to incoming storms late on Thursday evening.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect out of McDonogh 35 Senior High School (New Orleans) took an official visit to LSU on Jan. 22, a week after traveling to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for an official visit.
Martin had been committed to the Horned Frogs dating back to December, but opted not to sign his letter of intent last month on National Signing Day.
LSU defensive line coach Ed Orgeron has spearheaded Martin’s recruitment and put the full-court press on in recent weeks.
SEC Country expects Martin to land with the in-state Tigers.
