We’re just days away from the annual Iron Bowl between No. 2 Alabama (10-1, 6-1 SEC) and Auburn (6-5, 2-5 SEC). Of course, several notable recruits will be in attendance, as confirmed by SEC Country here, while many will be tuning in elsewhere.
SEC Country polled a few commits and targets from both programs for their prediction of Saturday’s game.
Check them out below:
Ben Davis, LB, Gordo (Gordo, Ala.), Undecided — “35-21, Alabama wins. The defense is going to play great. It will be closer than everybody thinks, though.”
Brodarious Hamm, OL, Spalding (Griffin, Ga.), committed to Auburn — “I have Auburn all the way. It’s not going to be an easy game. We will have to come out with our ‘A’ game and play Tiger football.”
William Poole, 2017 CB, Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, Ga.), Undecided — “I have Alabama as a 20-plus point favorite.”
Jake Fromm, 2017 QB, Houston County (Warner Robins, Ga.), committed to Alabama — “Alabama, 38-13. The defense will be dominant and stop Auburn’s run game, and the offense will continue to be unstoppable behind Henry and put up points.”
Miller Forristall, TE, Cartersville (Cartersville, Ga.), committed to Alabama — “34-7, Alabama.”
Jeawon Taylor, DB, Park Crossing (Montgomery, Ala.), committed to Florida — “45-7, Alabama. Their front is just too good for Auburn. It will completely stop Auburn’s run game, which is the key to their offense.”
Dre Massey, WR, Holmes Community (Goodman, Miss.), Undecided — “I’ll say 35-10, Alabama. Their defense is just too good.”
David Marshall, DE, Upson-Lee (Thomaston, Ga.), committed to Auburn — “It’s going to be a tough game to score on Alabama’s defense. But I have Auburn winning by two.”
Markail Benton, 2017 LB, Central (Phenix City, Ala.), Undecided — “42-10, Alabama. I don’t think Auburn will stop their offense.”
Xavier McKinney, 2017 DB, Roswell (Roswell, Ga.), committed to Alabama — “35-7, Alabama. They are on a roll.”
