ESPN announces college football commentators, analysts for 2017

With just over 30 days before the first College Football Saturday, ESPN has announced a new combination of commentators for the 2017 season.

Headlining the list of changes are former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville and ex-Oklahoma defensive lineman Dusty Dvoracek. Tuberville will Mike Patrick and Paul Carcaterra in the booth this season. Dvoracek is moving into a role on Friday nights, joining Adam Amin and Molly McGrath.

In addition to those moves, ESPN is shaking things up on Thursday nights. The network will rotate analysts each week alongside play-by-play commentator Dave Flemming and sideline reporter Laure Rutledge.

ESPN will have two games on Saturday, August 26 before the rest of the country begins the week of Sept 2: Portland State @ BYU and Rice vs Stanford.
