ESPN shuffled it’s list of top 50 players in college football to account for performance so far, and the SEC has a large number of player making an appearance again.
Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen is the top-ranked SEC player at No. 6. He’s joined by Crimson Tide teammates Eddie Jackson at No. 18 and Calvin Ridley at No. 29.
Ole Miss has the distinction of being the other team tied for SEC school with the most players on the list. Tight end Evan Engram (No. 16), quarterback Chad Kelly (No. 32) and defensive lineman Marquis Haynes (No. 42) make up the trio of Rebels to make the cut.
LSU’s Arden Key and Tennessee’s Derek Barnett join Allen in the top 10 of the list. Other SEC players to make the list include:
