Everyone knows who the stars are in the SEC.
Whether it be Leonard Fournette, Josh Dobbs or Myles Garrett, the SEC has an abundance of star power.
But often times, the deciding factor in the championship race is a less-heralded player. Last year, Alabama QB Jacob Coker played a huge role in the Crimson Tide’s championship season. Likewise, Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly stepped in as a first-year starter to help guide the Rebels to a Sugar Bowl victory last season.
With an eye towards this coming season, ESPN put together a list of potential X-factors that could decide how successful a season each team has. The X-factors ranged from individual players to position groups to new coordinators.
