Kirk Herbstreit made some waves among the SEC faithful last week when he moved Alabama out of the top spot on his rankings following Week 3 games.

It didn’t take long for Herbie to come back to his senses on the Crimson Tide.

On Sunday morning, Herbstreit revealed a new Top 4 list that includes Alabama back in the top spot after a convincing 59-0 win against Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon. Following a win against Louisville in Week 3, Clemson temporarily passed Alabama on Herbstreit’s weekly list.

The surprise to the rankings? Herbstreit dropped the Big Ten from his Top 4 altogether in favor of Big 12’s TCU, which beat Oklahoma State on Saturday.
