Florida misses out on 5-star quarterback
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida rolled out the red carpet for Jacob Eason, but in the end he stuck with the red and black.
The 5-star quarterback reaffirmed his commitment to UGA on Tuesday. The Gators hosted Eason on an official visit earlier this month following the firing of Mark Richt.
But the Elite 11 finalist officially visited UGA this past weekend, which solidified his pledge to the Bulldogs.
Fortunate for the Gators, they still have two quarterbacks committed in Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask. Both will enroll early at Florida.
