JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Stone Forsythe was one of four Gators commits who Florida coach Jim McElwain publicly acknowledged last week.
Forsythe, a 3-star offensive lineman from West Orange High School (Orlando, Fla.), signed his written offer of admissions with Florida.
Now that his recruitment is finished, the 6-foot-8, 325-pounder is focused on trying to flip his teammate, Auburn quarterback commit Woody Barrett.
“I try to convince him every day,” Forsythe said with a laugh in an interview with SEC Country. “He’s firm with Auburn, though.”
Barrett is ranked as the nation’s No. 4 dual-threat quarterback, while Forsythe is ranked as the No. 88 offensive tackle in the country.
