UGA and Auburn have failed to meet their high preseason expectations, but that doesn’t mean there’s little anticipation when the Bulldogs head into Auburn to take on the Tigers on Saturday. According to TiqIQ, the game will be the second-most expensive of the season for Auburn on the secondary market. The current average price for Georgia vs Auburn tickets is $163.72 with a get-in price of $75.
That average is below only Auburn’s Iron Bowl matchup against Alabama on November 28 with an average price of $446.19 and a get-in price of $205.
Saturday’s game at Jordan Hare Stadium is the third-most expensive Georgia road game of the season, below the October 10 game at Tennessee, which had an average price of $194.13, and the upcoming November 28 game at Georgia Tech. Georgia vs Georgia Tech tickets have an average price of $168.74 and a get-in price of $69 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
The game will also be 43.5% less expensive than Georgia’s last trip to Jordan Hare Stadium in 2013, which had an average price of $289.60 with a get-in price of $160. That game two years ago was a top 25 matchup, with No. 7 Auburn defeating No. 25 Georgia 43-38.
In 118 meetings, the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is tied 55-55-8.
