Georgia commit to visit Tennessee this weekend
Tennessee is expecting a highly-touted, surprise visitor.
Four-star defensive tackle Tyler Clark from Americus Sumter County South (Americus, Ga.) will take an official visit to Tennessee this weekend, according to a source close to his recruitment.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound prospect has been committed to Georgia since May. He chose the Bulldogs over scholarship offers from Auburn and Louisville, among others. He has visited Auburn on multiple occasions.
It makes sense for Clark to explore his options. Georgia has yet to officially name a coach after parting ways with Mark Richt on Sunday, although the Bulldogs have reportedly agreed to terms to hire Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.
