Four-star defensive end Mykelle McDaniel has made a few revisions to his list of top schools one month after revealing his initial list to SEC Country.
The Loganville, Ga., prospect took to Twitter on Thursday to announce a new top five, one that no longer includes Nebraska. The removal of the Cornhuskers has made room for Maryland and Mississippi State.
South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida round out the list, one that McDaniel maintained is in no particular order.
Interestingly enough, McDaniel told SEC Country last month that he’s already decided on a school of choice. However, it remains to be seen whether his recent change in top schools will alter his decision.
“To be honest with you, I know where I’m going already,” McDaniel told SEC Country last month. “I’m just going to hold it out and keep it a secret.”
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound senior from Grayson High School is rated as the No. 46 player in Georgia.
