The Georgia-Florida game is commonly known as the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
Fans from both Florida and Georgia make the drive to Jacksonville, Fla., and have a grand old time while watching the game.
But on Monday, shirts dubbing the game the “River City Showdown” emerged on Twitter.

Needless to say, people were not happy when they saw the changes.

Stop trying to make this a thing, schools. The game already has an excellent name. It's OK to acknowledge that people enjoy a cocktail. https://t.co/Q0ZUdAIfo9

This weekend’s game has only two names…
1) Georgia-Florida (not the other way around)
2) World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party#GoDawgs

If Twitter is any indication, fans are not going to refer to the game as the River City Showdown. This isn’t the first time this year an iconic rivalry has attempted to rebrand. The annual Texas-Oklahoma game, known as the Red River Shootout, rebranded itself as the Red River Showdown.
The Georgia-Florida game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
