Both teams have underachieved based on preseason expectations, but both were able to win on Saturday. Auburn upset Texas A&M 26-10, while Georgia handled Kentucky 27-3 to become bowl eligible. The Tigers need a win in at least one of their final three games to reach bowl eligibility.
The rivalry between the Bulldogs and Tigers dates back to 1892. Georgia defeated Auburn 34-7 last season.
